ER: Converting from Postgres 8.3 to MySQL 5.1 should convert timestamp to timestamp.
Description

Enhacement Request for Timestamp types should be converted to timestamp for MySQL versions 5.0 automatically.
Example:

"Setting" | "Data Type Conversion Settings"
Source: Postgres 8.3 / Destination: MySQL 5.1
Source "Timestamp(x) [with time zone]" is set to convert to Destination "Date"

Also "Serial" is simply converted to "Integer". Is there a way to automatically set the "auto increment" flag

Cause

Postgres data type Timestamp corresponds to DateTime data type in MySQL. This is why this data type is converted this way by default.

Enhancement request CR72812 has been submitted to Development for consideration in future release of Toad for Data Modeler.

You can change it on your own - in the Data Type Conversion Settings dialog. (F2 in the Destination column and Enter for confirmation). See more details in
