I am looking for some help in figuring out how to configure the business names to abbreviations file in Toad Data Modeler.
I configure the file, after I develop the physical model.
When I convert it into logical model, TDM will take this business names to abbreviations file and then create the entities and attributes with these abbreviations in the data base.
I am looking for this option in settings with our finding any settings.
The Naming Convention feature can be used for changing Logical names (Captions) to Physical names (Names) --- in physical models only.
In the logical model, this is not available.
When you convert model from physical to logical, what you get is logical model where the naming conventions cannot be used.
Currently, Toad Data Modeler does not plan to add this functionality to logical model.
