Toad launches but GUI does not display. It just shows in the taskbar.
Description
When Toad Data Modeler (TDM) is launched, it does not display. The TDM icon can be seen in the taskbar, but the application does not show if you click on the icon in the taskbar.
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK the application icon on the Taskbar
When presented with option to Restore, Minimize etc, choose Restore or Maximize, if enabled
If the above solution does not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to reset the TDM settings i.e.:
RESOLUTION 2:
With TDM closed:
Go to:'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software' (or \Dell)
Rename folder 'Toad Data Modeler' to 'Toad Data Modeler_old'
Go to:'C:\Users\<username>\Documents'
Rename folder 'Toad Data Modeler' to 'Toad Data Modeler_old'
Launch TDM and, when prompted, select 'New Configuration'
