The first time you run Spotlight following install you will be prompted to upload data to Spotlight Essentials. Spotlight Essentials provides health checks on your system, analyzes your performance data, gives you reports and insight into your performance and allows you to compare your experience to everyone else that uses the service. Performance data is uploaded to Spotlight Essentials once an hour.
To open the Spotlight Essentials home page
Click Welcome to Spotlight | Spotlight on the Web | Spotlight Essentials
