After configuring replication, specify the list mappings to use. This cannot be done using Central Administration. The list remapping is applied to outbound events as they are packaged for replication. If you are configuring bidirectional replication, then you must specify the list mapping on both web applications.
1.Create an XML file listing the list names on the source and target web applications. The contents of the XML file should look like:
<ListRemapping SourceList="Public Documents" DestList="Documents" />
Change the values of SourceList and DestList based on your list names. If you are remapping multiple lists, then add additional ListRemapping lines to the file.
2.Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator.
3.Run the PS> Add-ReplicatorListMappings command. The following example configures the extranet map family to use the XML file shown in step 1.
PS> Add-ReplicatorListMappings -Url
-MapFamily "Extranet Map Family" -Type WebSite
After completing this task, any changes to the list on the source web application will be automatically replicated to the remapped list on the target web application.
