Dequeue Rate Rule

This rule monitors the rate at which messages are removed from concrete queues and generates alarms when predefined thresholds are reached.

MQConcreteQueue

Rule Definition
Conditions	State
The average number of messages removed from the queue every second exceeds the rate set by the MQ_dequeueRateWRN registry variable, with a default value of 100 messages per second. To determine the value of this variable on this system, use the Manage Registry Variables dashboard. For more information about this dashboard, see the Administration and Configuration Guide.	Warning

This rule monitors the rate at which messages are added to concrete queues and generates alarms when predefined thresholds are reached.

Init Queue Error Rule

This rule checks if the messages in the initialization queue are reported to the queue manager.

Conditions	State
The initialization queue on the queue manager is not being read.	Warning

Listener Not Running Rule

This rule monitors the listeners that are being started and stopped at the same time as the queue manager, and checks if they are running.
