Configuring the excluded list

Click Edit at the top of the table.
When defining the excluded list for a specific agent, the Excluded Host Editor dialog box appears. When defining the global excluded list for all agents in your environment, the Global Exclude Host Editor dialog box appears. It provides the following information:
Hosts that should always be excluded from the scanning.
Matching Method used for identifying the hosts in this list.

Configuring the processes list

Click Edit at the top of the table.
The Global Process Dialog dialog box appears.

Click New process.

In the Regex Pattern field specify the regular expression based on which specific processes would be included in or excluded from the process pattern.

Configuring the ports list

Click Edit at the top of the table.
The Global Port Dialog dialog box appears.

Click New port.

Specify the Port Range and select if you want to include or exclude those ports from scanning.

Editing service dependencies

The Edit Service Dependencies dashboard helps Foglight users with the Advanced Operator role to manually add or ignore dependencies between components inside a selected service and external components.
To access this dashboard, click Edit Service Dependencies on the Dependency Mapping Administration dashboard.
Short text summary of the dependency (for example,
httpd.exe->mysql.exe), or the comment written by the creator of the manual dependency.
Click the details link to open the Dependency Detail dialog box. For more information, see Dependency detail.

Click Add a new dependency.
