Description
Upgrading to Stat 6.3 DB the upgrade script UORA600-630.sql raises error while creating view if the DB is Oracle 11g. -
Cause
This is due to BEQUEATH DEFINER which is a new feature in Oracle 12c, meaning the view is run with the rights of the person who created the view. -
Resolution
Solution:The script UORA600-630.sql has to be modified to make it backward compatible with Oracle 11g.1. Open the script with notepad.2. Search for the keyword 'BEQUEATH DEFINER'.3. Comment the line 3864 referring to the keyword. For example:Line 3864 -- BEQUEATH DEFINER
