How to change SYSTEM password in Stat 5.7.0? -
Description
We cannot login with the password that we have and we are in the process upgrading it to 5.7.0. How do you change the Stat SYSTEM password? -
Resolution
1. Logon with Stat Windows Client with another Stat User with Admin rights
2. Go to User Options | User Maintenance
3. Locate User ID - SYSTEM
4. Verify that User ID - SYSTEM has a valid Email Address under * Email Address column. If not available, then simply add a valid email address. Make sure to provide a valid email address because this user will receive an email with a temporary password.
5. Highlight User ID - SYSTEM and click Reset Password button
6. Click Apply button.
7. Log Off Stat Windows Client.
8. Check your email (from step #4),
9. Now logon to the Stat windows client and change your password
10.. At the logon window, enter Username=SYSTEM, Password=xxXXxx (substitute with your temporary password from email)
