Description
Received the following error when trying to fetch any Oracle AOL and Oracle File object:
Unexpected error in postmessagetotpic: jms exception in gettopicconnection: failed to create session factory

Cause
Could not resolve stat central agent and stat oracle agent dns from the stat windows client workstation. -
Resolution
1. Make sure that the stat central agent have the -b option.
a. Logon to the stat central agent machine and go to STAT_HOME/app/bin
b. Locate the run.sh and add -b=enter_agent_host_name. Now the line should look something like this:
./standalone.sh --server-config=standalone-full.xml -b=xxx.quest.com
c. Bounce the stat central agent
2. If using offset 0 port, make sure that 8080 and 9990 is open on the stat central agent machine, stat windows client machine and stat oracle agent machine.
3. a. From the Stat Windows client machine, try to ping stat_central_agent_host and ping stat_oa_host.
b. From the Stat central agent machine, ping the stat oa machine
c. From the Stat oa machine, ping the stat central agent machine
4. If the Stat Windows Client machine cannot ping stat_central_agent_host and stat_oa_host then add the ip address and hosts name of the stat central agent machine and ebiz machine to the hosts file on the local pc or work with the Network Admin to resolve dns.
5. If adding ip address and hostname of the stat central agent and oracle agent does not work then try step #6.
6. Bring up command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns
