Schedule multiple dependent patches and email user once patch is completed -

Q1: If I have multiple oracle ebs patches to apply using stat, is there a way to schedule these patches, so that they will run serially, and the next patch is dependant upon the previous patch completing successfully?

For example, I have 5 patches to apply. I want the patching to begin at 5pm, and then later in the evening, I would check on the patches to make sure they completed successfully.

Q2: Even better, is there also a way that stat can send an email to alert me that the patching has completed?

Resolution
A1. Go to Help | Online books | Change Management Guide | Oracle Applications and look under scheduling patch applications and impact analysis.
A2: You can also create business rule to send user notification once the patch is completed. This is available in Maintenance | Domain Specific | Business rule | click New. Select OraApps Patch Application Complete from the event drop down list.
