As part of Stat upgrade from Stat 5.4.x to 5.5.x, customer noticed the following errors from server.log after installing/configuring new Stat 5.5.0 Server/Agent:

Missing steps in the Upgrade Process.
RESOLUTION:
To upgrade the password encryption:
1. Log in to Stat as the SYSTEM user.
2. Select Tools | Stat Upgrade | Upgrade Encryption.
Note: After upgrading the password encryption, the menu option Upgrade Encryption is deactivated.
