SQL query with date columns returns a different result in SQLPlus and SQL Navigator
Description

Running the same query in SQL*Plus or Toad for Oracle gives different results to that returned in SQL Navigator. Two rows are displayed for the same ID in SQL*Plus, whereas SQL Navigator only displays one row.
Cause

Defect associated specifically with the date format (dd-Mon-RRRR) set in preferences.
Resolution

WORKAROUND

View | Preferences | General | User Interface | Set date format to anything other than dd-Mon-RRRR
