Errors appear when using the Analysis window of the Spotlight Tuning Pack
Description
When using Spotlight Tuning Pack in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), the following error appears when using the steps below:
1. Open SSMS, connect to instance using SQL Auth. 2. Open New Query window and select relevant Database 3. Enter SQL Statement and check on "Include Actual Execution Plan" 4. Execute query 5. Click on Analysis button on bottom of the screen
Error: 'Could not load file or assembly 'ExecutionPlan.Analyzer, Version=2.11.531 - the parameter is incorrect' and/or 'The Path is not of a legal form'
Resolution
WORKAROUND: Rename the DLL files ApexSQL.<ProductName>.Addin.SSMS18.dll for all ApexSQL products running as plug-ins in SSMS.
