Spotlight on UNIX hangs when connecting to Red Hat Linux 6 OS
Description
Spotlight on Oracle 9.6.0.854 (with Spotlight on UNIX/Linux built in, Seems to hang when trying to connect to Linux OS Red Hat 6. No error ... just hangs. Seems to work fine with other UNIX flavors.
Resolution
Try the following ...
Change the following line in “spotlight\plug-ins\datasourceunix\scriptconfig.ini” and restart the connection –
