Spotlight displays the following error:
"Windows host is in an unplanned outage: Access is denied (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)"
Or
"Monitored Server - Windows Connection Failure: Cannot connect to windows host 'NNN.N....": Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)' for Windows 2008 Servers
Workaround 1:
This issue can be resolved by adding the account running the Diagnostic Server to the Windows Administrators group.
On Windows 2008 Servers, the issue might be caused by a restricted remote access, if a local account with administrative rights is being used to connect to the server in Spotlight.

Workaround 2:
If issue is only with a few connections, run the following script on the command line on the Diagnostic Server machine, and this will test for WMI connectivity from Windows. (User will need to edit the command to suit your environment):
wmic /user:\domain_name\user_name /node:"monitored_host_name" path Win32_PerfRawData_PerfDisk_LogicalDisk
For more details check the following KB article: Click here.
If this fails from Windows, then it is likely to be an issue with Windows setup (possible permissions issue, or WMI issue), rather than Spotlight.
