WORKAROUND:
To improve performance you can do the following:
1. If SQL Analysis feature is enabled for your connections, disable it please.
SQL Activity drilldown | SQL Analysis | Change SQL Analysis Options (Blue hyperlink in the middle of the page)
Please make sure when in the SQL Analysis options that the checkbox to override the default settings is not enabled.
2. Restore alarm default schedules for the rules you may have modified to improve performance.
A. Go to view | diagnostic server administration
B. Click on Alarms
C. This will list out all your alarms. Any alarms that were modified will be in blue.
3. Configure the Diagnostic Server to collect and store Repository data with intervals greater than the default
A. Go to view | diagnostic server administration
B. Click on Scheduling
4. Be sure the Diagnostic Server machine has plenty of resources to handle high I/O.
5. Move the Playback Database and Spotlight Statistics Repository to different servers or physical disks.
6. Move the Playback Database and Spotlight Statistics Repository to the same subnet as the Diagnostic Server.
