There is a problem acknowledging Alerts if I cluster has failed over and the Alert was raised on the previous node.
Steps taken
1. Mark a few alarms as requiring acknowledgment. (All the CPU Alarms)
2. Create a few scripts that would max out the CPU and trigger these alarms
3. Before Acknowledging ,fail the cluster over to the new node.
4. Within Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise the Alerts still show as needing to be Acknowledged but taking the action do not clear them.
WORKAROUND
Close Spotlight and reopen it again to clear out the Alarms.STATUS
