Getting error "Changes to the Diagnostic Server are disabled because the configuration may be in a damaged state" -
Description
Spotlight was working fine and suddenly the error below appeared:
Note that there has not been an upgrade of Spotlight.
The file in the error message (ConfVersion.37.3.0) exists and is not corrupt. -
Cause
The user running the Diagnostic Server had been removed from the administrator group -
Resolution
Make sure the user running the Diagnostic Server meets the minimum requirements.
