The history is twithin the Playback database as with SoSSE7.0 we decided to remove the 5 minute entries in the history browser panel because we thought they gave the false impression that all data is collected at 5 minute intervals and on a 5 minute boundary, which is not the case.
At any selected time in history Spotlight shows the data that was collected prior to or at that time. Some collections run at lower frequencies and so data on different controls on the screen can be from different times. Most of the more dynamic metrics are collected every 5 minutes but the collections do not occur at exactly the same time and so can be spread over 5 minutes.
There is a button on the top of the panel which allows the user to select a specific time to view or they can use the slider bar at the bottom of the screen to choose a time which should allow you to see the data you are looking for within the Playback database.
