1. Make sure the listener info matched what is enter into Spotlight
2. If the Spotlight Diagnostic Server and monitored SQL Servers are inside a DMZ please make sure port 3843 TCP and UDP are opened on the firewall.
3. If the Spotlight Diagnostic Server is outside a DMZ but the monitored SQL Servers are inside a DMZ:
a. Open the TCP 3843 and UDP 3843 ports between the Spotlight Client and Diagnostic server.
b. Open UDP 1434 port on the firewall to locate a SQL Server instance by port number.
4. Allow the Out-of-process Collector through the firewall. That is, allow ..\Diagnostic Server\Agent\ext\SpotlightOOPCollector.exe
5. Make sure a successful connection can be made using the listener name from SQL Server Management Studio to the monitored AlwaysOn High Availability Group in the DMZ.
