Enhancement request for Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise to read the OS Data with virtual na
Description

Some of the SQL Server instances in Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise 7.0 are reporting that‚OS data is not available .
Spotlight on SQL cannot handle pointing to a Windows Cluster as the Underlying OS, it has to have one of the nodes specified, which is the problem, because how one node is performing may not be accurately indicative of how the other nodes in the cluster are performing.
By doing a right click on the instance connection from Spotlight, open properties | Details tab, then in the Linked OS Connection section select existing SoWE-connection or create new one with the Windows Cluster name (Windows virtual hostname) does not work.

STATUS:
Enhancement request ST11265 has been submitted to development for consideration in a future release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
