Incorrect details in the Total Memory Help page about MAX memory
Description
In the Help File for Total Memory, the information is incorrect.
See screenshot below with the highlighted incorrect information:
Setting the MAX memory to 0 in SQL Server 2016 will cause SQL Server to fail.
Resolution
From Microsoft: Check link , the default maximum amount of memory is 2147483647 MB not 0, and the minimum memory amount allowable for max server memory is 128 MB.
STATUS: Issue fixed in version 12.1. The latest version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise can be downloaded here .
