In Spotlight 9.2, Analysis Services activity does not allow for British Summer Time (BST) -
Description
Using Spotlight 9.2, activities logged for Analysis Services display the date/time in GMT and does not take into consideration BST.
Other "(Non AS) Servers" show the correct time. -
Cause
Certain versions of either Analysis Services or the client side libraries supplied by Microsoft return the date and time incorrectly. They do however return it in an identifiably wrong form.
The flag identifying whether the datetime is in UTC or local time is missing. -
Resolution
Issue fixed in the current release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. To upgrade to the latest version without loss of existing connections and configurations, upgrade to Spotlight version 10.0 first. Contact <a href="https://support.quest.com/contact-support">support team</a> to obtain installers of previous versions of Spotlight.
