Description
When uninstalling Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise via Add/Remove Programs, the error following error is thrown:
Exception EFCreateError in module MSI73.tmp at 0005D47B. Cannot create file C:\Program Files\Quest software\Spotlight Enterprise\Console\Install.ini followed by en error 1722. -
Resolution
If this path has been removed or if it resides on another path, try the following steps:
1 Create the path 'C:\Program Files\Quest software\Spotlight Enterprise\Console\'
2 Create the 'Install.ini' within the 'Console' folder
3 Proceed with the uninstallation.
