Using two backup alarms setup as follows, “Backup – Days since Last Full Backup”, alarm high when 8 days or more and “Backup – Hours Since Last Differential Backup”, alarm high when 24 hours or more and having a backup schedule on SQL Server to perform a differential backup 6 days a week and then a full backup 1 day a week.
However, with this setup, every day on a full backup, an alarm is fired indicating a differential backup has not been made for more than 24 hours. Is there a way to setup the alarm “Backup – Hours Since Last Differential Backup” so it will not trigger an alarm if full backup has been made instead?
