Please verify that Adaptive Server is running.

Please verify you have completed the steps on page 48 of the Getting Started Guide attached (Creating a Spotlight User and Connection)

Also please note the following:
Sybase MDA tables must be installed
Sybase MDA must be turned on
Sybase localhost entry in sysservers must be completed
Sybase MDA server parameters must be configured
Sybase "mon_role" must be given to the login defined in the ASP.

Please also verify the connections details are correct (check the port)
