Total Device Size Shown in Devices Drilldown Incorrect (4284745)

If the ASE server being monitored is configured with a page size other than the standard 2048 bytes, the total device size shown in the devices drilldown will be incorrect.

WORKAROUND

The attached patch resolves this issue.

NOTE: This patch is not to be used in conjunction with the Unix install script - it will produce errors. The install script already includes a fix for this issue.

Take the following steps to implement the patch:

1) Copy the sosyb.prc file to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Plug-ins\SoSyb. This will replace the existing file of the same name. Note that this is the default path and the actual path may vary between installations.

2) Run Spotlight and connect to an ASE server using an account with 'sa' privileges. The updated stored procedures will be installed automatically. Note that using a non 'sa' account will result in an error and the updated procedures will not be installed.
