Just Started it up.
One of the possible cause for this problem could be the loopback entry. Request Spotlight Support Bundle. Look in the file SoSyb.zip then open the file sosyb.txt
Look for "Servers", the section looks like:
Servers (NFDB_ASE_YYY.SoSyb):
-----------------------------
0 8 NFDB_YYY NFDB_YYY 0 0
1 8 SYB_BACKUP_Y NFDB_YYY_BK
2 8 loopback NFDB_ASE_YYY 7 1000
As we can see, the loopback entry (3rd row, 4th column) is not the same as the first entry (1rst row, 4th column), it should have NFDB_YYY.
In other words, for CIS (Component Information Services), make sure the loopback entry is the same as the server - this is required for the MDA table usage. This may be verified by running a simple query against an MDA table (select * from master..monState) and seeing if it returns an error.
