Using Spotlight on DB2 v 6.7.1.9 tried to add Alert email for High Severity alerts, following steps: View | Options | Alarm log | Action Rules | Checked mark on (Where the alarm severity is and Send email to) | Send an email | enter email address | Test | A window pop up to select
If click on Yes (Allow) it sent an email, however if click on No (Deny) got an error:

STATUS
Waiting for a fix with CR/ST 69722 on a future release of Spotlight for DB2.
WORKAROUND:
Switch to SMTP, go View| Options| Spotlight Console| Servers, and select the SMTP button and configure the SMTP mail options so thatthe confirmation messages should go away.
