What's the best way to stop monitoring one SQL server, and start monitoring another one and preserving the historical data from the 1st one ? -
Resolution
Preserving historical data from an old SQL Server connection on a new connection is not supported.
If the subscription allows adding a new connection, new connection can be created the old connection disabled. That way you’ll still have access to the historical data.
