How to speed up the reorg?

There are two main methods to speed up the creation of objects (tables and indexes) during a Live Reorganization: choosing the Unrecoverable option and/or the Parallel Query Option on the "Choose Scripting Options" screen of the Reorg Manager wizard. Choosing Unrecoverable means you should back up the tables as soon as possible after the reorganization. We recommend that the best option for speeding up creation of objects is by using Parallel.
As in regards to increasing the number of freelists: this only applies if the you are NOT using ASSM tablespaces.
