Received error: "ORA-1031 insufficient privileges" during installing Demonstration data
Description

Received error: ORA-1031 insufficient privileges during installing Demonstration data. The installer user has DBA privilege.
Cause

Oracle removed the CREATE SYNONYM privilege from the CONNECT role.

Problem exists in 10.2 and 11g.
Resolution

WORKAROUND 1:
Remove the create synonym statement from ddb_tab.sql in the demo directory.
or
WORKAROUND 2:
Use the attached script.
