Title
When running the “remove log compare …’ command, following error encountered:
“Error connect to qynprdbindb01-vip.data.bos.intuit.net port 2200. Check that sp_cop on the target is running.”

Cause
There are two IPs assigned to the source network interface and only one of them opened by firewall. Due to Solaris network multiple path thing, the system assigned the IP that was not opened by firewall to sp_ctrl .

Resolution
Open a firewall for second IP of source network interface.
