What files are created by Shareplex during install outside of Product or Variable directories (also termed as proddir and vardir respectively)?
Cause

General information.
Resolution

There are two files that are created during Shareplex installation outside of Shareplex directories. They are install.conf and the installation log, both of which are created in $HOME under the hidden directory .shareplex. Other than these two, there are no other files generated anywhere outside of Shareplex directories.

Customers need to know this for the purpose of keeping a tab on what is installed on their servers. It also helps in ensuring that all file and directory structures associated with Shareplex are removed once they remove Shareplex install from a server.
