Due to user errors, there can be residual DML in the Post queue (say, open transactions) which need COMMIT or ROLLBACK to apply these to the target database. Customers want to know if the queues can be manipulated to insert such messages in the queue at the correct place (say, end of the open transaction) to help facilitate applying of these DML to the target database.
Post queues get the messages by way of activity on the source database and there are no way additional messages like DML (INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE) or COMMIT/ ROLLBACK can be put in the queue by external means. Shareplex does not have such mechanism and this is done to maintain integrity of the replicated data.
