Does Shareplex support raw device.
General information.
SharePlex supports replication when the Oracle redo logs and datafiles reside on raw devices, on filesystem devices, or both. However, the Shareplex product directory and variable directory (also termed as proddir or productdir and vardir respectively) should not be housed in raw device. These need to be located in regular filesystems.
Also, install the SharePlex variable-data directory on a separate filesystem from the one containing the production database instance.
