How to run SharePlex commands from a command line or Powershell.

Commands run from the sp_ctrl command prompt can be run from a shell prompt.

For Example: Stop Export.

• sp_ctrl stop export on %USERNAME%/%PWD%@%SP_SYS_HOST_NAME%:%PORT.
• NOTE: Executed on windows, hence used %VARIABLE_NAME%.

For Example: Using Compare.

• sp_ctrl compare table .[@partition name] to .[@partition name] target @o.<mailto:%7d@o.%7btarget_sid%7d>.

For Example: Status command.

• $> $/sp_ctrl status on.
• sp_ctrl status on host:port# > c:\status.txt

For Example: Status command.

• Export SP_SYS_VARDIR to point to the correct replication port.
