Compare result shows the date column is out of sync, but the table is actually in sync.
Different database character sets are used on the Source and Target, especially between multi-byte character set and single-byte character set.
When the character sets are different for the Source and Target databases, set the following parameters on the Source Server before running Compare/Repair operation.
sp_ctrl> set param SP_DEQ_CHARACTERSET xxxxx
(----xxxxx value from target NLS_CHARACTERSET )
sp_ctrl> set param SP_DEQ_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET xxxxxx
(--- xxxxxx value from target NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET)
sp_ctrl> set param SP_DEQ_NLS_LANG_SELECTOR 2
To find out the Target database's character set, run the following query on the Target:
select * from nls_database_parameters;
Waiting for fix in a future release of Shareplex for Oracle.
