Description
SharePlex Manager discovery phase returns Error "CNC_ERR_INVALID_PASS" after entering the source host, O/S user and password.
Follow instructions in solution 44629, su user -c -true works fine. However sp_ctrl>status on host command returns invalid password

Cause
password contains special character like '#' or '@' and shareplex is running on HP servers

Resolution
WORKAROUND: Do not use special characters like '#' or '@' in password.
