Need ability to purge multiple backup folder locations. Currently Security Explorer has the ability to purge one folder location for backups.
For example: If there are multiple drives on a server, we place the backup files in the root directory:
D:\Security Descriptors
G:\Security Descriptors
H:\Security Descriptors
WORKAROUND
1) Create a purge NTFS backup files task in Security Explorer.
2) Open Task Scheduler and find the newly created purge task.
3) Export the purge task to file.
4) Import the saved purge task into task scheduler giving the task a new name.
5) Open the properties of the purge task.
6) On the "Actions" tab select the single action, and click "Edit"
7) Add quotation marks (" ") around the program/script. This should now appear as (example) "C:\Program Files\Quest\Security Explorer\SXPPurgeBackupFiles.exe"
8) In the "Add arguments (optional)" location leave the opening "0" and edit the path in quotes to whichever path you need to purge.
9) Click ok, and ok again. Reenter the password for the account running the scheduled task. This should be the same account used to schedule the original purge task.
