Using Virtual Mailboxes in Quest Archive Manager to Save Searches and Export Results
With Virtual Mailboxes in Quest Archive Manager, you can conveniently save searches performed in the GUI and export the results using Recovery Manager for Exchange. To achieve this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Create a Virtual Mailbox and Folder
1.1. Open the Quest ArchiveManager Admin Website.
1.2. Create a Virtual Mailbox:
1.3. Create a Folder within the Virtual Mailbox:
Step 2: Perform a Search and Select Results
2.1. Access ArchiveManager's search functionality and perform your desired search query.
2.2. Review the search results and select all the items you want to export.
Step 3: Export the Selected Results
3.1. Once you have selected the desired search results, export them to the Virtual Mailbox:
3.2. ArchiveManager will begin exporting the selected items into the previously created Folder within the Virtual Mailbox.
Step 4: Access Exported Data with Recovery Manager for Exchange
4.1. Launch Recovery Manager for Exchange
4.2. Connect to your Archive Manager environment within Recovery Manager.
