You see the error "Specified cast is not valid" when trying to expand a Storage in the Recovery Manager for Exchange console -
Resolution
WORKROUND
1. Open Add/Remove Programs
2. Click on Recovery Manager for Exchange
3. Click Change
4. Click Repair
5. After the Repair install is complete, open Recovery Manager for Exchange and expand a Storage and the error should no longer be present.
