Error when creating a new project "exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
Description

The below error may occur after entering in a password for a new Forest Console project:

"exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
Cause

Security Policy setting is not allowing the password to be stored.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:

Disable the below local security policy setting (Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options):

System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing" policy
