Description
You may observe following error when installing RMAD and SQL reporting server URL is specified 'Failed to check availability of the specified SQL Reporting Server' -
Cause
RMAD is using Msxml2.XMLHTTP for the connection in vb script and it fails when trying to send the get request to the service with an error message "Security certificate required to access this resource is invalid". -
Resolution
AS a workaround you can disable "Check for Server certificate revocation" option in advanced settings of Internet Explorer browser. This has been logged as a product issue under ID: 293385 and will be fixed in future release -
