Scheduled backups may fail with the following error:
"Unable to get a temporary file name. The directory name is invalid"
The account specified as to run the schedule is also used to access the backup file location. If a share has been specified as the backup location, confirm the schedule account has rights to the share. If the share is in a different domain than the RMAD server, if possible, set the schedule account to be an account from the domain where the share resides, and grant the account local Administrator rights on the RMAD server.
If the failure is occurring for manually run backups, ensure the account that is logged on to the Recovery Manager server has access to write to the backup storage location.
