When trying to apply the license you may get an error similar to one of the following:
"Invalid license"
"Missing valid licenses for the following features:
Recovery Manager for Active Directory. License is not installed due to error: Unspecified error.
To continue the installation, specify a valid license file"
OR
"Invalid license"
"Missing valid licenses for the following features:
Recovery Manager for Active Directory. License not found.
To continue the installation, specify a valid license file"
This error may occur when applying a license file for the incorrect product. Open the .asc license file in notepad and check the "Product Name=" field. If this license file is for the Forest Edition version of the product and just Recovery Manager for AD is installed, contactlicense@quest.com to obtain a license file for just Recovery Manager for AD. If Forest Edition is installed, then contact license@quest.com to submit a request for the appropriate license file.
This error may also occur if the license provided is for the incorrect version. Open the .asc license file in notepad and check the "Version=" field to ensure it matches the version you have installed.
If you have an encryption clilent installed (such as PGP), on the machine where you are downloading the license key, try downloading the file to a machine that does not have the encryption client installed on it.
