Active Directory Virtual Lab (ADVL) Child DCs fail on “Replicate FSMO Role Owners”
Description
When running an ADVL project against a multi-domain forest, the Root DC may complete normally, but all Child domains fail in the “Finalize created lab / Replicate FSMO role owners”. The ADVL project was configured so the target DCs use different IP addresses (likely a different subnet) than the source. In the source forest: Active Directory integrated DNS is in use and each Child domain owns its own forward lookup zone. The root zone uses delegations to point to the DCs of each child domain.
