Description
Windows Server 2012 R2 agent fails to gather metadata and/or cannot be protected after upgrading Rapid Recovery agent to version 6.6.
Looking at the agent AppRecoveryPM.log we can see the following error:
System.NullReferenceException depth 0: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (0x80004003) at Replay.Common.Implementation.Metadata.CommonMetadataService.GetUpdateBuildRevision() +0x13 6001bba at Replay.Common.Implementation.Metadata.CommonMetadataService.IsRefsSupported() +0x0 6001bbb at System.Lazy`1.CreateValue() +0x60 6000e1d -
Cause
This has been identified as product defect RR-111069
The defect RR-111069, will be evaluated by our Product team for inclusion in a future release.
