During a Hyper-V export (either one-time or Virtual Stand-by export), unable to choose "Generation-2" options, as this option has been disabled or grey out
Cause
It's a limitation of the Hyper-V server installation, only Windows 2012 R2 or above able to support Generation-2 VM and not others. Hence when you carry Hyper-V export into a Windows 2012 or below, the "Generation-2" VM option will be greyed out
Resolution
Please proceed with Windows (Hyper-V) server upgrade to Windows 2012 R2, in order to carry the Hyper-V Generation-2 VM exports.
* Note: Upgrading to Windows 2012 R2 is subjected to Windows licensing.
